Chefs’ Academy is our multi-award winning chef development programme, and the largest of its type in the UK! Joining Chefs’ Academy gives you the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised qualifications, through a combination of work within your business and attending our monthly masterclasses.
At the masterclasses, our multi-award winning chef team will help you create exciting dishes, working with fresh foods beyond the requirements of your brand to broaden your skill base and laying the foundations to help you become a more knowledgeable chef.
You will cover modules such as pastries, game and butchery, creating a three course meal each session you attend giving you the chance to learn over 60 recipes over you time on programme. Our masterclasses are in locations across the UK including Manchester, Birmingham, London, Sheffield and Leeds.
Back in business, you will be visited every 4-6 weeks by a Lifetime Regional Trainer who will help you work towards your qualification, including Maths and English Functional Skills (if you have not already achieved these at GCSE level 4 / Grade C).
We offer two levels; Intermediate Chefs’ Academy, working towards a Level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship, and Advanced Chefs’ Academy, working towards a Level 3 Senior Chef in Production Cooking apprenticeship. Read our guides below to find out more about the two programmes.
